Course Information:
The Placer County Traffic School is an online course made up of 8 units of instruction. It will take about 8 hours to complete. You will be studying California safety information including defensive driving tactics, driving environments, collision avoidance, drug and alcohol-impaired driving, distracted driving, maintaining your vehicle, and much more. The court determines whether or not an out-of-state driver can take the course as well as the time frame that you have for completing the course requirements.
Final Exam:
Depending on your court requirement, you may have to visit a notary to take the Placer Traffic School final exam. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions that are taken from the course material. If you are unable to pass the Traffic School Course exam with a score of 80%, retakes are free and unlimited.
